Course description
The degree is designed to meet the needs of students who are in existing employment as chemical and process engineers and who are seeking an advanced degree in this field. The degree is designed to develop advanced skills and knowledge in the areas of chemical engineering, and chemical and process technology.
It may also be suitable for graduates of related science and engineering disciplines who are working in chemical and process industries, provided that they have enough background in chemical engineering.
The course is accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) - the global professional membership organisation for chemical engineering professionals.

Normally at least a second-class honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in chemical engineering or relevant engineering, technology or science discipline. Other qualifications may be considered if they meet the same standard. Students must currently be working in a relevant role that will allow completion of the work-based project.
