Course description

Divided into modules, each focusing on a specific aspect of nail extensions. You will find a balance between theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training to ensure you're well-prepared for any nail-related task.

You will develop skills in the application of the nail treatments listed below,

Liquid and Powder Nail Enhancements €“ SQA certificated.

Light Curing Gel Nail Enhancements €“ SQA certificated.

Artistic Gel €“ ABT accredited.

Barbacide certificate.

Entry requirements

Students must hold a manicure and gel polish certificate, such asNail Technician | Dumfries and Galloway College (dumgal.ac.uk)Students must be at least 16 years to attend.

As SANA is an advanced nail course, students are required to bring their own tools. If you are progressing from our SNTC course, you will already have the tools required (except for an acrylic brush/dappen dish). So please bring the following items with you for your first class:

Cuticle pusher
Cuticle nippers
Plastic nail brush
Nail scissors
Tip cutters
Acrylic brush
Dappen dish
Fine liner gel brush

The £200 kit provided for your course includes all products that you need to complete acrylic and gel enhancements and gel nail art. Nail lamps are provided for use within the college.
